Setup Network between Host and VirtualBox

This topic covers how you can install 'Microsoft Loopback Adapter', Virtualbox and Setup connectivity between multiple virtual hosts.

1. Install 'Microsoft Loopback Adapter'

Run: devmgmt.msc
Select --> Network Adapter
Action Menu --> Add legacy hardware
Install the hardware manually
Select --> Network Adapter
Manufacturer --> Microsoft
Model --> Microsoft Loopback Adapter
Follow the instruction.

2. Download and Install Virtualbox

--> Search "Virtualbox" from website search engine.
--> Download - Virutualbox setup for Windows.
--> Execute the setup.
--> Follow the Instruction.

3. Set IP Address:

In Loopback and Virtualbox Adapter

4. Bridge Network Connection:

Select Loopback & Virtualbox Adapter
Right click: Click Bridge Connection

5. Install Operating System in Virtualbox

Install the Operating System using ISO/DVD
Note: Network Adapter --> Bridge Network
